Made slowly, finished by hand.
2CAST is built around small batches, tactile finishing and the kind of detail that only appears when a piece is handled up close. Every bead is cast, cleaned, darkened, polished, checked and packed in short runs.
The process
Three stages, one pair of hands.
01 — Cast
Cast
Small-batch forms are poured in bronze, brass and nickel silver, with enough variation to keep each bead alive.
02 — Patina
Patina
Dark recesses are developed by hand so relief, faces and grooves read sharply against the polished metal.
03 — Finish
Finish
Edges and high points are chased and polished, then each bead is strung on a free paracord and packed.
